Easy Street’s 2020 Rally and Demo Day will happen
Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22nd
at the
Keller/Fort Worth shop
This will be two events in one.
The Easy Street Demo Day is a public demo event, where everyone is invited to come and see Easy Street’s full lineup of recumbent trikes and bikes. We’ll have older stock that we’ll be ready to make deals on, and we’ll have new spring inventory coming in from TerraTrike and Catrike. There will be an especially good selection. The Demo Day is a free event. Just show up and ride. Wear your riding shoes.
But that isn’t all.
The Recumbent Rally, on the other hand, costs $25 to register for. It is aimed at people who already have recumbents and want to visit and ride with their tribe. To register, please call either the Austin shop at 512-453-0438 or the Keller shop at 817-846-8903, or register online at https://www.bikereg.com/2020hot
Rally registrants will enjoy a VIP lounge and a range of social, creative, and technical activities throughout the day. And at the Demo Day they can play recumbent evangelist for those investigating recumbents.
This is an experiment on my part, but I feel it is a useful and exciting synergy. I’ve needed to get a Demo Day going again after several years of focusing on the Rally. The new shop in Keller needs more exposure. But beyond that, anyone with an interest in recumbents can meet a ready supply of recumbent enthusiasts to discuss opinions, choices, and experiences. Easy Street’s sales people are pretty nice folks, but at the Demo Day they will have more than just sales people to speak with. We consider this the really special thing about coming to the ‘Bent Event, distinct from all the other times you can come to the shop.

Test rides are always important, and all our stock can be tested on the beautiful John Barfield/Little Bear Creek trail. See how it feels to put some miles on a recumbent. Both Demo Day guests and Rally guests are invited to try out what we have.
Afterwards, Rally guests will gather for dinner nearby and enjoy an informative set of ‘Bent University talks with a tech clinic.
Sunday morning, everyone is invited to join us for a breakfast ride. We’ll have two rides leaving the shop down the trail. A 7-mile ride will go into North Richland Hills and an 11-mile ride will go into Grapevine. We’ll have breakfast and ride back. Ride at your own pace and turn around if you get tired.
Then we’ll say farewell and see you off at the shop.
